This Privacy Policy describes how PICA ("the App") collects, uses, and protects your information. We are committed to safeguarding your privacy and ensuring transparency in our data practices.
1. Information We Collect
PICA does not require account registration or login. We do not directly collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, or phone number.
However, certain information may be automatically collected for app operation and advertising purposes as described below.
2. Advertising Data Collection
PICA allows online advertising partners ("Ad Partners") to collect and process your advertising identifier for the purpose of delivering personalized advertisements.
Pro subscribers are fully ad-free, and no advertising-related data collection occurs.

To provide interest-based personalized advertisements.
Retention and Disposal
PICA does not directly collect or store advertising data. Please refer to each Ad Partner's privacy policy for details.
3. App Analytics (Firebase Analytics)
PICA uses Google Firebase Analytics to collect anonymized usage statistics for improving app quality.
Information Collected
- App usage events (image loading, exporting, tool usage, filter selection, etc.)
- App version, device model, OS version
- App crash and error information
Purpose
- App feature improvement and bug fixes
- Service quality improvement through usage pattern analysis
All analytics data is anonymized and aggregated through Google Firebase. For details, see Google's Privacy Policy.
4. App Version Check (Firebase Remote Config)
PICA uses Firebase Remote Config to check for the latest app version. No personal information is collected; only app version numbers are compared.
5. In-App Purchases (Pro Subscription)
PICA Pro subscription payments are processed through Google Play Store or Apple App Store. PICA does not directly collect or store payment information.
6. Photo and File Access
PICA accesses photos and files stored on your device for photo editing functionality.
- Selected photos are processed entirely on your device and are never transmitted to external servers.
- Edited photos are saved to your device's gallery.
- EXIF metadata (camera info, location, etc.) is read for preservation and maintained in exported images.
7. On-Device AI Processing (ML Kit)
PICA uses Google ML Kit's selfie segmentation for portrait retouching features.
- All AI processing is performed entirely on your device.
- No image data is transmitted to external servers.
- Processing results are used only in memory and are not stored separately.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Opting Out of Personalized Ads
- Android: Settings > Google > Ads > "Opt out of Ads Personalization" or "Delete advertising ID"
- iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking > Disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track"
Data Deletion
PICA does not store your personal information on any server. Uninstalling the App will delete all app data stored on your device (edit recipes, settings, etc.).
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
If this Privacy Policy is updated, we will notify you through app updates or in-app notifications.

PICA(이하 "앱")은 「개인정보 보호법」 제30조에 따라 정보주체의 개인정보를 보호하고 이와 관련한 고충을 신속하고 원활하게 처리할 수 있도록 하기 위하여 다음과 같이 개인정보 처리방침을 수립·공개합니다.
1. 수집하는 개인정보의 항목
PICA는 별도의 회원가입이나 로그인 절차가 없으며, 이용자의 이름, 이메일 등 개인 식별 정보를 직접 수집하지 않습니다.
다만, 앱 운영 및 광고 제공을 위해 아래와 같은 정보가 자동으로 수집될 수 있습니다.
2. 광고 관련 정보 수집
PICA는 온라인 맞춤형 광고 사업자(이하 "광고 사업자")가 이용자의 광고 식별자를 수집·처리할 수 있도록 허용하고 있습니다.
Pro 구독 이용자는 모든 광고가 비활성화되며, 광고 관련 데이터 수집이 이루어지지 않습니다.

3. 앱 분석 정보 수집 (Firebase Analytics)
PICA는 앱의 품질 개선 및 안정적인 서비스 제공을 위해 Google Firebase Analytics를 사용하여 익명화된 사용 통계를 수집합니다.

4. 앱 버전 확인 (Firebase Remote Config)
PICA는 Firebase Remote Config를 사용하여 최신 앱 버전 정보를 확인합니다. 이 과정에서 개인정보는 수집되지 않으며, 앱 버전 번호만 비교합니다.
5. 인앱 결제 (Pro 구독)
PICA Pro 구독 결제는 Google Play Store 또는 Apple App Store를 통해 처리됩니다. PICA는 결제 정보를 직접 수집하거나 저장하지 않습니다.
6. 사진 및 파일 접근
PICA는 사진 편집 기능을 위해 이용자의 기기에 저장된 사진 및 파일에 접근합니다.
- 선택한 사진은 오직 기기 내에서만 처리되며, 외부 서버로 전송되지 않습니다.
- 편집된 사진은 이용자의 기기(갤러리)에 저장됩니다.
- EXIF 메타데이터(촬영 정보, 위치 등)는 원본 보존을 위해 읽어오며, 내보내기 시 원본 EXIF를 유지합니다.
7. 기기 내 AI 처리 (ML Kit)
PICA는 인물 보정(뷰티) 기능을 위해 Google ML Kit의 셀카 세그멘테이션을 사용합니다.
- 모든 AI 처리는 이용자의 기기 내에서만 수행됩니다.
- 이미지 데이터가 외부 서버로 전송되지 않습니다.
- 처리 결과(마스크 이미지)는 메모리에서만 사용되며 별도 저장되지 않습니다.
8. 이용자의 권리 및 행사 방법
맞춤형 광고 수신 거부
- Android: 설정 > Google(구글 설정) > 광고 > "광고 개인 최적화 선택 해제" 또는 "광고 ID 삭제"
- iOS: 설정 > 개인정보 보호 및 보안 > 추적 > "앱이 추적을 요청하도록 허용" 비활성화
데이터 삭제
PICA는 이용자의 개인정보를 서버에 저장하지 않으므로, 앱을 삭제하면 기기에 저장된 모든 앱 데이터(편집 레시피, 설정 등)가 삭제됩니다.
9. 개인정보 처리방침 변경
이 개인정보 처리방침이 변경되는 경우, 변경 사항을 앱 업데이트 또는 앱 내 공지를 통해 안내합니다.
